Honest. Simple. CBD.
It is my mission with B&B Botanicals to provide the highest quality CBD products at the fairest price I can give. This is a CBD company that is by the people, for the people. This is not a corporate CBD giant that uses synthetic CBD, low quality ingredients, and MLM to push sub-par products to the masses. This is a company that believes in the power of the Cannabis/Hemp Plant, and aims to produce high quality products that leave our customers feeling the same way!

CBD may not be for everyone! We are not going to be a company that just blindly throws out blanket statements about CBD while not having the correct amount of peer reviewed research to confirm these statements. But, based on my own experience and and the experiences of others, I do feel very confident in the CBD molecule and its beneficial properties. I simply would not include it in our ingredients if I did not believe in the strength of Cannabidiol! One must try CBD for themselves to determine if the cannabinoid lives up to its name. If you are concerned about CBD and its effects, consult a physician before trying any CBD products. If you are satisfied, please try the wonder of plant based products to see for yourself what all the hype is about!

CBD, or Cannabidiol, is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid that is found in the Cannabis/Hemp plant. There is a distinction between the CBD that comes from the psychoactive cannabis plant, and the CBD that comes from the non-psychoactive industrial hemp plant, and is legal in all 50 states. That distinction is in the THC content of each plant. Cannabis plants can have up to 30%+ THC (the psychoactive cannabinoid that made cannabis the target of prohibition, false stigmas, and infamy), while industrial hemp plants by definition under the 2018 Farm Bill, have no more than 0.3% THC. The actual CBD molecule is the same between the two plants. Same molecule, same effects (Though there is something to be said about the synergistic effect of multiple cannabinoids. Check out our blog for more on this topic and more). The reason Hemp based CBD is legal in all 50 states due to its lack of THC content. These are the CBD products that you see in all different states in retail stores, smoke shops, health food stores, and so on. That is why we only use Farm Bill Compliant Industrial Hemp Based CBD in all of our products, because we want to reach as many people as we can across the country. You do not need a medical card, or to live in a state where cannabis is legal, to get your hands on one of nature’s greatest secrets. That is why CBD is one of our favorite ingredients to put in almost anything! When combined with other great plant extracts, nature’s secret beauty comes out in all of its glory.

With having a very natural product full of organic material and lacking in artificial preservatives, it is subject to degradation as time goes on. We at B&B Botanicals choose to stay away from any harmful dyes, preservatives, and chemicals that we think just do not need to be there. We want to give the customer a close experience with nature. We accomplish this by leaving any synthetic components out of our products. That does mean that our product on day one is going to be a little different than our product 6-12 months later.

Now we are not talking about drastic changes, but the essential oils may slowly oxidize and evaporate off over long periods of time. That is just how nature works. Basically the smell will lose some of its potency, and the effects of the essential oils will not be as great as it was on day one. Also if you leave our product in a hot car for a while or in a warm area, the consistency may change, but the ingredients remain the same, just slightly altered in appearance. The CBD will still be there, and it should not degrade unless heated to temps well above 200 degrees fahrenheit. There will still be plenty of essential fatty acids and vitamins that your skin will love. That is why we recommend daily use of our products, and do not be afraid to share with your friends and family! Let others into the wonders that is plant-based products free from harsh chemicals, preservatives, and dyes. Honestly, it’s just easier to leave those things out. That also means you have to make use of the product while it’s at its peak!

B&B Botanicals recommends that if you purchase a product from us, that it is best to be stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Those are the optimal conditions to store our products to prolong the freshness for as long as possible. Alas, it must be known that our products may lose some potency after 8-12 months, as you cannot stop the forces of nature when you do not add in any man-made preservatives! At B&B Botanicals, we want to be as clear and transparent as we can be with our audiences.

Yes, I would say that for a vast majority of people and mammalian pets, our products are going to be very safe to use on the skin (humans) and body. Knowing what we know about the endocannabinoid system being a functioning human system for maintaining human health. A World Health Organization (WHO) report has found no adverse health outcomes but rather several medical applications for cannabidiol, a.k.a. CBD, despite U.S. federal policy on this cannabinoid. According to a preliminary WHO report published this year, naturally occurring CBD is safe and well tolerated in humans (and animals) and is not associated with any negative public health effects. Though there has been some reports that CBD may interact with the p450 enzyme, which possibly could mess with a pharmaceutical medication regime. Please always consult with a physician about CBD before trying any CBD products if you think it might react with something in your system. See the WHO Report Here: http://www.who.int/medicines/access/controlled-substances/5.2_CBD.pdf

Also, There will always be some cases where certain skin types might possibly have a small reaction to some of the ingredients in our products. This will more than likely be due to the way essential oils may react with some skin types, which can cause a rash to occur. If this happens to you please discontinue use and contact us to let us know what is going on, and if there is any remedy we can apply to our product to correct the customers experience. This usually only happens with a tiny percentage of people with very reactive skin. That being said, a large number of our ingredients are generally regarded as very safe, due to the nature of being extracted from already safe plant based sources. Ingredients such as Sweet Almond Oil, Beeswax, and Roman Chamomile are known to be very gentle on the skin.

B&B Botanicals does not recommend the use of our edible products to anyone that has to take a drug test.

If you are using CBD products that are made with CBD Isolate only, there is almost no chance of you failing a drug test. This only applies to any cases taking CBD internally(like our Balancing Nectar Isolate option). If you are only using CBD topically, you will never fail a drug test due to use of said topicals. The only reason we say that CBD can potentially make you fail a drug test, it is because in the WHO report on CBD found that CBD can be converted into THC in the presence of a strong acid. A strong acid like our stomach acid, though that does not happen very often in humans. Some people vape CBD oil daily, take drug tests, and still do not fail drug tests. It totally depends on the type and severity of the drug test, and the amount of usage. At B&B we want to be as transparent about our industry and our business, so we want the customer to know as much as they can to make an educated decision on what they are buying.

Now if you choose to use products that have Full Spectrum Hemp Oil, that have to have less than 0.3% THC, there is absolutely a chance that you could fail a drug test. Again, this is referring to taking the Full Spectrum internally, like a tincture or capsule product. If you have any reason to be drug tested, B&B Botanicals does not recommend use of any CBD products, out of safety for all parties. Topical use of Full Spectrum would not make you fail a drug test unless it was a transdermal product. Which B&B does not currently offer. Yet. 😉

Absolutely! We do take requests to make special orders, and if we do get enough requests for a certain type of product(i.e. a salve with no essential oils) we can add that product to our line for a probationary period to see if it gathers enough steam to cement itself on our full-time lineup! It should go without saying, but we will reiterate and state that we only take reasonable requests, and have the right to deny any requests that would fall out of the realm of reasonable possibility for us. That being said, it never hurts to ask! So please just ask us! We at B&B Botanicals want to share the power of nature to the world, and to us the best way to accomplish that is to share some products and knowledge that will inspire our customers to seek a deeper connection to the world that produced us!

That depends on what you are looking for in the product! Our labels include directions for use, but I will go into a little more detail for our online audience. If you have abnormally achy muscles, we would recommend massaging the Achy Muscle Rub into your skin every 4-6 hours for maximum benefits. Regular achy muscles from activities such as work or working out? Just 1-2 times a day will have an effect on you, especially right after your workout to help loosen up those tightened muscles and ligaments. Personally, I like to use the Achy Muscle Rub right before bed so our ingredients have all night to work undisturbed, during the body’s natural healing time. If you have dry, cracked skin, we would recommend using the Calming Moisture Rub 1-3 times per day until your skin is at the softness you desire! For a more relaxing effect, rub some of the calming moisture rub into your chest area to let the aromatherapeutic benefits waft into your sinuses. Looking to add a boost of essential fatty acids, vitamins, and nutrients that your body craves to your massage? Just add a couple squirts of our Achy Muscle Oil to any massage to take your massage experience to the next level!
